Cookie Policy

How this website uses cookies and similar technologies, when consent is required, and how you can remain in control.

Effective: 29 August 2026The Raeburn Holding Group Limited · Company no. 17361231

Important

This policy is deliberately implementation-led: the website should not claim to use analytics, advertising or other optional cookies unless those technologies are actually deployed and the required consent controls are active.

01

Scope

This policy explains how theraeburngroup.com uses cookies and similar browser technologies. Separate Raeburn Group websites or products may use different technologies and should publish their own cookie information where their implementation differs.

This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy.

02

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small data files stored by a browser. Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, pixels, SDKs and device identifiers. Some are necessary to deliver a requested service; others can be used for analytics, preferences, advertising or other optional purposes.

03

UK consent rules

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, as amended, we do not intentionally place or access non-essential cookies or similar technologies on your device before obtaining the consent required by law.

Strictly necessary technologies may be used without consent where they are essential to transmit a communication or provide a service you have explicitly requested. Where personal data is involved, UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 also apply.

04

Categories we may use

  • Strictly necessary: security, session continuity, load balancing, fraud prevention, consent-state storage or other functions needed to operate the site.
  • Preferences: optional settings that remember choices beyond what is necessary for the service.
  • Analytics: optional measurement technologies used to understand site usage and performance.
  • Advertising or profiling: optional technologies used for targeted advertising or cross-site profiling, if ever introduced.

We will not describe an optional category as active merely because it is technically possible to use it. The consent interface, where displayed, should reflect the technologies actually deployed at that time.

05

Current deployment

The main Raeburn Group corporate site is designed to operate without relying on advertising cookies. We do not intentionally use non-essential tracking technologies unless they are separately enabled and presented through an appropriate consent mechanism.

Infrastructure providers may process request, security and performance data at server level without necessarily setting browser cookies. Server-side logs and telemetry are addressed in the Privacy Policy.

07

Browser controls

You can also delete or block cookies using your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent parts of a website from working correctly. Browser controls do not replace our obligation to obtain consent where consent is legally required.

08

Third-party technologies

If a third-party service is embedded or integrated into the site, that provider may set or access technologies subject to its own terms and privacy information. Where those technologies are non-essential, they should not be activated before the required consent is obtained.

09

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, suppliers or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, where needed, updated consent choices.
